भाण्ड देवल मंदिर, आरंग(रायपुर)
पता – यह रायपुर से संबलपुर जाने वाले राष्ट्रीय राजमार्ग संख्या 6 पर रायपुर से 37 कि.मी दूरी पर स्थित प्राचीन नगरी आरंग है ।
गर्भ गृह – भाण्ड देवल मंदिर के गर्भ गृह में तीन तीर्थकार कि अति सुंदर चमकदार कायोत्सर्ग मुद्रा वाली सुन्दर प्रतिमाएं अधिष्ठित है।इस मंदिर में भाई- बहन एक साथ प्रवेश नहीं करते ऎसी जनश्रुति है।
जैन धर्म को समर्पित है यह मंदिर – यह भाण्ड देवल मंदिर जैन धर्म को समर्पित है।
मंदिरों की नगरी – यहां ऎतिहासिक एवं पुरातत्विक महत्व के अनेक मंदिर स्थित है। इसलिए आरंग को मंदिरों कि नगरी कहा जाता है।इस नगर का उल्लेख पुराणों में भी मिलता है।
आरंग के प्रमुख मंदिर – भाण्ड देवल मंदिर, बाघ देवल मंदिर, महामाया मंदिर, पंचमुखी महादेव मंदिर, हनुमान मंदिर आदि आरंग के प्रमुख दर्शनीय मंदिर है।
नागरशैली में निर्मित- यह भाण्ड देवल का जो मंदिर वह नागरशैली में निर्मित मंदिर है।
जैन तीर्थकार की प्रतिमाएं – भाण्ड देवल से अनेक जैन तीर्थकार की प्रतिमाएं प्राप्त हुई है।
9 वी से 10 वीं शती ई में निर्मित मंदिर – कला कि दृष्टी से 9 वी से 10 वीं शती ई में हैहय वंशीय शासको द्वारा निर्मित माना जाता है
पश्चिम मुखी मंदिर – भाण्ड देवल का जो मंदिर वह पश्चिम मुखी मंदिर है और यह पश्चिम मुखी मंदिर ऊंची जगती पर निर्मित है|
दंतेश्वरी मंदिर – भांड देवल मंदिर के बाहर में मां आदिशक्ति दंतेश्वरी देवी का मंदिर हैं और गर्भ गृह में दंतेश्वरी देवी का देवी विराजमान हैं।
पुरातत्विक विभाग की देख रेख में – भाण्ड देवल का मंदिर हैं वह पुरातत्विक विभाग की देख रेख सुरक्षित है।
मंडप एवं मुखमंडल – भाण्ड देवल मंदिर के मंडप एवं मुखमंडल का आधार से ऊपर का भाग विनष्ट हो चूका है।
सुन्दर मूर्तियां – भाण्ड देवल मंदिर के दीवारों में बहुत ही सुन्दर मूर्तियां उकेरी गई है। मंदिर कि बाह भित्ति अधिष्ठित से लेकर आमलक तक उरूश्रृंगो व कुलिकाओ से अलंकृत है| जिसमे जैन तीर्थकार यक्ष – यक्षिणी व देव प्रतिमाये के अतिरिक्त अलिंगनरत ,मिथुन मूर्तियों का भी उत्कीर्णन किया गया है|
अधिष्ठान भाग कि सज्जा पांच पट्टिकाओ हंसवाली ,नृत्य -संगीत के दृश्य, कीर्तिमुख एवं ज्यामिति अभीप्राय के अंकनो से युक्त है|

Bhand Deval Temple, Arang (Raipur)
Address- It is an ancient city of Arang located 37 km from Raipur on National Highway No 6 from Raipur to Sambalpur.
Garbha Griha – Bhand is the beautiful idol of exquisite shining kayotsarga posture of three pilgrims in the sanctum of the Deval temple. This temple is a Janshruti which is not entered by brothers and sisters together.
This temple is dedicated to Jainism – This Bhand Deval temple is dedicated to Jainism.
City of Temples – Many temples of historical and archaeological importance are located here. Hence, Arang is called the city of temples. This city is also mentioned in the Puranas.
Major Temples of Arang – Bhand Deval Temple, Bagh Deval Temple, Mahamaya Temple, Panchmukhi Mahadev Temple, Hanuman Temple etc. are the major scenic temples of Arang.
Built in the Nagara style – This temple of Dewal Dewal is a temple built in the Nagara style
Statues of Jain pilgrimage – Many Jain pilgrim statues have been received from Bhand Deval.
Temple built in 9th to 10th century AD – Art wise, it is believed to have been built by the Haihaya dynasty rulers from 9th to 10th century AD.
Paschim Mukhi Mandir – The temple of Bhand Dewal is the Paschim Mukhi Mandir and this Paschim Mukhi Mandir is built on high altitide.
Danteshwari Temple – Outside the Bhand Deval temple, there is a temple of mother Adishakti Danteshwari Devi and in the womb house is the goddess of Danteshwari Devi.
Under the supervision of the Archaeological Department – Bhand is the temple of Deval, it is safe to look after the Archaeological Department.
Mandapa and Mukhamandal – The top portion of the mandapa and mouthpiece of the Banda Dewal temple has been destroyed.
Beautiful sculptures – Very beautiful sculptures are carved in the walls of the Bhand Dewal temple. The outer wall of the temple is decorated with Urusrungo and Kulikao from the Amalak to the Amalak. In which, in addition to the Jain pilgrimage Yaksha – Yakshini and Dev Pratimaaya, Alingaranrat, Mithun idols have also been engraved.The decoration of the installation part consists of five plaques with swanwali, dance-music scenes, kirtimukh and geometry.
