हेलो दोस्तों मेरा नाम है हितेश कुमार इस पोस्ट में मैं आपको गिरिजाबंध हनुमान मंदिर के बारे में जानकारी देने वाला हूंl
पता – गिरिजाबंध हनुमान जी का मंदिर छत्तीसगढ़ के बिलासपुर जिले से 25 की.मी दूर रतनपुर में है जिसे मां महामाया का नगरी कहा जाता हैै।
स्त्री के रूप में पूजा जाता है – हनुमान जी को बाल ब्रह्मचारी भी कहा जाता है जिस कारण स्त्रियों को उनकी किसी भी मूर्ति को छूने से मना किया गया है। वे देवता रूप में विभिन्न मंदिरों में पूजे जाते हैं लेकिन एक ऐसा मंदिर भी है जहां पर हनुमान को पुरुष नहीं बल्कि स्त्री के रूप में पूजा जाता है।
10,000 साल पुराना मूर्ति – दोस्तो गिरिजाबंध के दक्षिण मुखी हनुमान जी का मूर्ति सौ दो साल नही नही बल्की दस हजार साल पुराना बताया जाता है जो की बहुत दुर्लब है।
मूर्ति की विशेषता – दोस्तो गिरिजाबंध के हनुमान जी का मुख दक्षिण की ओर है इसलिए इसे दक्षिण मुखी बोला जाता है।इस मूर्ति में पाताल लोक का चित्रण है जिसमे रावण के पुत्र अहिरावण का संघार करते दिखाया गया है।हनुमान जी का मूर्ति अष्ट सिंगार से युक्त है बाए कंधे में राम जी और दाएं कंधे में लक्ष्मण जी विराजमान है। दोनो पैरो में निशाचरो को दबाए हुए है।
कहानी या इतिहास – रतनपुर के राजा पृथ्वी देवजू ने इस मंदिर का निर्माण करवाया था । पौराणिक और एतिहासिक दृष्टि से बेहद महत्वपूर्ण इस देवस्थान के बारे में ऐसी मान्यता है कि यह लगभग दस हजार वर्ष पुराना है।
एक दिन रतनपुर के राजा पृथ्वी देवजू क़ा ध्यान अपनी शारीरिक अस्वस्थता की ओर गया। वे विचार करने लगे-मैं इतना बड़ा राजा हूं मगर किसी काम का नहीं। मुझे कोढ़ का रोग हो गया है। अनेक इलाज करवाया पर कोई दवा काम नहीं आई। इस रोग के रहते न मैं किसी को स्पर्श कर सकता हूं। न ही किसी के साथ रमण कर सकता हूं, इस त्रास भरे जीवन से मर जाना अच्छा है। सोचते सोचते राजा को नींद आ गयी।
राजा ने सपने में देखा कि संकटमोचन हनुमान जी उनके सामने हैं, भेष देवी सा है, पर देवी है नहीं, लंगूर हैं पर पूंछ नहीं जिनके एक हाथ में लड्डू से भरी थाली है तो दूसरे हाथ में राम मुद्रा अंकित है। कानों में भव्य कुंडल हैं। माथे पर सुंदर मुकुट माला । अष्ट सिंगार से युक्त हनुमान जी की दिव्य मंगलमयी मूर्ति ने राजा से एक बात कही।
हनुमानजी ने राजा से कहा कि हे राजन् मैं तेरी भक्ति से प्रसन्न हूं। तुम्हारा कष्ट अवश्य दूर होगा | तू मंदिर का निर्माण करवा कर उसमें मुझे बैठा। मंदिर के पीछे तालाब खुदवाकर उसमें स्नान कर और मेरी विधिवत् पूजा कर। इससे तुम्हारे शरीर में हुए कोढ़ का नाश हो जाएगा।
इसके बाद राजा ने विद्वानों से सलाह ली। राजा ने गिरजाबन्ध में मंदिर बनवाया। जब मंदिर पूरा हुआ तो राजा ने सोचा मूर्ति कहां से लायी जाए।
एक रात स्वप्न में फिर हनुमान जी आए और कहा मां महामाया के कुण्ड में मेरी मूर्ति रखी हुई है। तू कुण्ड से उसी मूर्ति को यहां लाकर मंदिर में स्थापित करवा। दूसरे दिन राजा अपने परिजनों और पुरोहितों को साथ देवी महामाया के दरबार में गए। वहां राजा व उनके साथ गए लोगों ने कुण्ड में मूर्ति की तलाश की पर उन्हें मूर्ति नहीं मिली। हताश राजा महल में लौट आए।
संध्या आरती पूजन कर विश्राम करने लगे। मन बैचेन हनुमान जी के दर्शन देकर कुण्ड से मूर्ति लाकर मंदिर में स्थापित करने को कहा है। और कुण्ड में मूर्ति मिली नहीं इसी उधेड़ बुन में राजा को नींद आ गई। नींद का झोंका आते ही सपने में फिर हनुमान जी आ गए और कहने लगे- राजा तू हताश न हो मैं वहीं हूं तूने ठीक से तलाश नहीं किया। जाकर वहां घाट में देखो जहां लोग पानी लेते हैं, स्नान करते हैं उसी में मेरी मूर्ति पड़ी हुई है।
राजा ने दूसरे दिन जाकर देखा तो सचमुच वह अदभुत मूर्ति उनको घाट में मिल गई। यह वही मूर्ति थी जिसे राजा ने स्वप्न में देखा था। जिसके अंग प्रत्यंग से तेज पुंज की छटा निकल रही थी । अष्ट सिंगार से युक्त मूर्ति के बायें कंधे पर श्री राम लला और दायें पर अनुज लक्ष्मण के स्वरूप विराजमान, दोनों पैरों में निशाचरों दो दबाये हुए। इस अदभुत मूर्ति को देखकर राजा मन ही मन बड़े प्रसन्न हुए। फिर विधिविधान पूर्वक मूर्ति को मंदिर में लाकर प्रतिष्ठित कर दी और मंदिर के पीछे तालाब खुदवाया जिसका नाम गिरजाबंद रख दिया।
मनवांछित फल पाकर राजा ने हनुमान जी से वरदान मांगा कि हे प्रभु, जो यहां दर्शन करने को आये उसका सभी मनोरथ सफल हो। इस तरह राजा पृथ्वी देवजू द्वारा बनवाया यह मंदिर भक्तों के कष्ट निवारण का एक केंद्र हो गया, जहां के प्रति ये आम धारणा है कि हनुमान जी का यह स्वरूप राजा के ही नहीं प्रजा के कष्ट भी दूर करने के लिए स्वयं हनुमानी महाराज ने राजा को प्रेरित करके बनवाया है।

Address – Girijabandh Hanuman Ji’s temple is 25 km from Bilaspur district of Chhattisgarh in Ratanpur, which is called the city of Maa Mahamaya.
Worshiped as a woman – Hanuman ji is also called Bal Brahmachari, due to which women are forbidden to touch any of their idols. They are worshiped in various temples in deity form but there is also a temple where Hanuman is worshiped as a woman, not a man.
10,000 years old idol – Friends, the idol of Hanuman ji, south of Girijabandh, is said to be not hundred or two years old but ten thousand years old, which is very rare.
The specialty of the idol – Hanuman ji of Friends Girijabandh is facing south, so it is called Dakshina Mukhi.This idol depicts the Hades in which Ravana’s son Ahiravana is seen embellishing.The idol of Hanuman ji is with Ashta Singar, Rama ji is in the left shoulder and Laxman ji is seated in the right shoulder. Both sides are holding the nocturne.
Story or History – This temple was built by King Prithvi Devju of Ratanpur. Legendary and historically very important, there is such a belief about this Devasthan that it is about ten thousand years old.
One day, King Prithvi Devju of Ratanpur meditated on his physical illness. They started thinking – I am such a great king but of no use. I have leprosy. Many treatments were done, but no medicine worked. I can not touch anyone while living with this disease. Nor can I please anyone, it is good to die from this life of tragedy. The king fell asleep while thinking.
The king saw in his dream that Sankatmochan Hanuman ji is in front of him, Bheesh is a goddess, but not a goddess, not a langur but not a tail with a ladoo plate in one hand and Ram Mudra in the other hand. There are grand coils in the ears. Beautiful crown garland on the forehead. The divine Mangalamayi idol of Hanuman ji with Ashta Singar said one thing to the king.
Hanumanji told the king that O Rajan, I am happy with your devotion. Your suffering will definitely go away. You built the temple and made me sit in it. Carved a pond behind the temple, bathed in it and worshiped me duly. This will destroy the leprosy in your body.
After this, the king consulted the scholars. The king built the temple in the church. When the temple was completed, the king thought from where to bring the idol.
One night, Lord Hanuman came again in a dream and said that my idol is kept in the pool of Maa Mahamaya. You bring the same idol here from the pool and get it installed in the temple. The next day the king accompanied his family and priests to the court of Goddess Mahamaya. The king and the people accompanying him looked for the idol in the pool but they did not find the idol. The desperate king returned to the palace.
Sandhya Aarti started resting after worshiping. After giving darshan of the mind restless Hanuman ji, he has asked to bring the idol from the tank and install it in the temple. And the idol was not found in the pool, the king was put to sleep in this uproar. As soon as the sound of sleep came, Hanuman ji came again in the dream and started saying, “King, don’t be desperate, I am there, you did not search properly.” Go and look at the ghat where people take water, bathe in that my idol is lying there.
When the king went to see the other day, he really got that amazing idol in the ghat. It was the same idol that the king had seen in his dream. Whose limb had a sharp beam coming out of it. The idol with Ashta Singar sits on the left shoulder of Shri Rama Lala and on the right as Anuj Laxman, the two nozzles are pressed in both the legs. The king was very happy to see this amazing idol Then lawfully brought the idol to the temple and established the pond behind the temple, which was named as a church.
After getting the desired fruit, the king asked Hanumanji a boon that Lord, who came here to see him, all the wishes of him should be successful. In this way, this temple, built by King Prithvi Devju, became a center for the relief of the suffering of devotees, where it is a common belief that this form of Hanuman ji, Hanuman Maharaj himself gave the king to remove the suffering of the people, not only the king It has been built through inspiration.
