मधेश्वर पर्वत जशपुर छत्तीसगढ़
दूरी – जशपुर जिला मुख्यालय से 35 किलोमीटर की दूरी पर राजकीय राजपथ क्रमांक 78 परचरई डांड के समीप मयाली ग्राम स्थित है
विश्व का बड़ा शिवलिंग – मधेश्वर एक पहाड़ है जिसकी आकृति शिवलिंग के समान दिखाई देती है। ग्रामीण लोग इस पहाड़ की पूजा करते है और विश्व का बड़ा शिवलिंग होने का गौरव प्राप्त है।
प्राकृतिक शिवलिंग – मदेसर पहाड़ को शिव भगवान का प्रतिरूप माना जाता है। तथा प्रतिवर्ष यहाँ मेला भी आयोजित की जाती है और इससे पहले शिव भगवान की पूजा भी की जाती है। हालाँकि यह पर्वत आकर में शिवलिंग के समान ही है।
पहाड़ का बनावट – यह एक बहुत ही विशाल चट्टान से बनी हुई पर्वत है जो भूमि से सीधे 300 मीटर ऊँची ऊठी हुई है। इसका आकार एक शिवलिंग के समान है जो मंदिरों में स्थापित होते हैं। वर्षा ऋतु में इसके ऊपर बरसने वाली पानी जलधारा बनकर नीचे चली आती हैं, और इस प्रक्रिया बहती हुई धाराएँ इस शिवलिंग रूपी चट्टान में एक चौड़ी और लम्बवत निशान बना देती हैं जो बिल्कुल मंदिर के पुजारी द्वारा शिवलिंग पर लगाये गये लम्बे टीके की तरह दिखाई देती है।

Madheshwar Mountains Jashpur chhattisgarh
Distance – 35 kilometers from Jashpur District Headquarters, Government Village Path number 78 is located near Mayarai Dand, Mayali Village.
World’s Great Shivling – Madheshwar is a mountain whose shape looks similar to Shivling. The villagers worship this mountain and have the distinction of being the world’s largest Shivling.
Natural Shivling – Madesar mountain is considered as a replica of Lord Shiva. And every year a fair is also held here and before that Lord Shiva is also worshiped. However, this mountain is very similar to the Shivling in Aakar.
Mountain Design – This is a very huge rock made mountain which is 300 meters high from the ground. Its shape is similar to a Shivalinga which are installed in temples. In the rainy season, the water pouring on it comes down as a stream, and in the process the flowing currents make a wide and vertical mark in the rock of this Shivalinga, which looks exactly like a long vaccine placed on the Shivling by the priest of the temple.
