पता- यह कोरबा से लगभग 50 किलोमीटर की दुरी पर स्थित है पाली का प्रसिद्ध प्राचीन शिव मंदिर।
गर्भ गृह में विराजमान – मंदिर के गर्भ गृह में है तीन शिवलिंग जिसके दर्शन मात्र से ही सभी मनोकामना पूरी हो जाती है।
मंदिर का निर्माण – इस मंदिर का निर्माण 870 से 895 ई. के मध्य वाणवंशीय राजा विक्रमादित्य ने बनवाया था।इसके अष्ठकोणीय मण्डप पर ब्रम्हा, कृष्ण, सरस्वती, महिषासुर मर्दिनी एवं गजलक्षमी इत्यादि का चित्रण किया गया है।
शिवरात्रि तथा सावन पर्व पर – पाली के प्रसिद्ध शिवमंदिर में शिवरात्रि तथा सावन पर्व पर लाखो की संख्या में श्रद्धालु यहां जल चढाने आते है। तथा यहां विशाल मेले का भी आयोजन किया जाता हैं।
भव्य मंडप- मंदिर के गर्भ गृह के बाहर एक मण्डप बनाया गया है जिसे देखने पर भव्य तथा सुंदर लगता है।
कलात्मक मुर्तियां- मंदिर के दीवारों पर कलात्मक मुर्तियां बनायी गयी है। जो काफी सुंदर तथा अद्भुत दिखाई देती हैैl
नवकोनिया तालाब – मंदिर के बाहर में 32 एकड़ का तालाब हैं इस तालाब को नवकोनिया तालाब भी कहा जाता है। और यहां का पानी बारह महीने रहता है।
आंतरिक भाग- मंदिर के आंतरिक भाग में आपको देवी देवताओं की मूर्ति, ध्यान में योगी शिव की आराधना करते हुये दिखाई देती हैं।यहां कई तरह की मूर्तिं दीवारो पर उकेरी दिखाई देती है।
प्रमुख विशेषता – मंदिर का जंघा भाग वन्धन के द्वारा पाद भाग में विभक्त हैं।जंघा पर आठ भुजाओ वाले नृत्यरत शिव, चामुण्डा, सूर्य स्त्री के गीले वरत्र खिंचना, स्त्री द्वारा मांग में सिंदूर भरना एवं दर्पण सुंदरी इत्यादि का अंकन पाली स्थित महादेव मंदिर के मुर्तियां की कुछ प्रमुख विशेषता हैं।

Pali’s Shiva Temple, Korba
Address- It is located at a distance of about 50 km from Korba, the famous ancient Shiva temple of Pali.
Seated in the sanctum sanctorum – In the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, there is three lingam, whose vision only fulfills all the desires.
Construction of the temple – This temple was built by the commercial king Vikramaditya between 870 and 895 AD. Its octagonal pavilion depicts Brahma, Krishna, Saraswati, Mahishasura Mardini and Gajalakshmi etc.
On Shivratri and Sawan festival – In the famous Shiv temple of Pali, lakhs of devotees come here to offer water on Shivratri and Savan festival. And a huge fair is also organized here.
Grand Mandap – A pavilion has been built outside the sanctum sanctorum of the temple, which looks grand and beautiful on seeing it.
Artistic Murtis – Artistic Murtis are made on the walls of the temple. Which looks very beautiful and amazing.
Navakonia pond – There are 32 acres of pond outside the temple, this pond is also called Navakonia pond. And the water here lasts for twelve months.
Interior- In the inner part of the temple, you see a statue of Gods and Goddesses worshiping Yogi Shiva in meditation. Here many types of idols are engraved on the walls.
The main feature – the thigh part of the temple is divided into the foot part by the prostration. On the thigh, the eight arms of the dancing Shiva, Chamunda, Surya pulling the wet wreath of the woman, filling the vermilion in demand by the woman and marking the mirror beauty etc. of the Mahadev temple at Pali. There are some prominent features of Murtis.
